Ati have made the drivers, cant wait for the glasses looks like summer time.

You can allready use them on Nvidia :notworthy:. 60Hz per eye (120hz)

Besides the 3d side of things, input lag is hellishly common, nay not common, it's a given on flat panels.
Even on these mid range 24" Dell's that I use (Samsung IPS panels) input lag is a problem. On my old Dell 2408w, input lag has been measured at 64ms! Imagine that as an additional 64ms ping! Now can you see the potential effect it has on your gaming? It's like lag you never knew you had lol.

On my newer 2410u however, there is a preset game mode that brings it down to more acceptable and less noticeable levels. It's like the 'Source' button on your amplifier, it removes a sh1t load of electronics for a cleaner signal throughput.

It should be a factor to bare in mind for every pc gamer just as much as which ISP to go with or which graffix card...

Fatboy you really need to be running a 120hz monitor to benifit from the 3D side of things, i cant comment on how good itis as iv never tested it, but i would most prob spend £100 od just to see.

Thats right joker input lag plays a big roll thats why i went for a 22" that cost me a small fortune and not a large monitor, its as close to a CRT as you can get, i was gutted when my 22" iiyama CRT finaly packed up as i knew the flat pannels at that time was not up to the job for gaming, also there was vysnc to think about as the CRT,s at 120HZ vysnc on was soo smooth, the older flat pannels tore to bits.

I also remember my first really old 15" harry big button CRT added to my in game ping, like same server same map same point in map was getting somthing like 25 ping over LAN, soon as switched to new CRT with higher refresh it dropped my ping to 15, dont ask me how it effected it but it did lol.

Unfortuantely gaming is a add on for what I wanted my monitor for hence why it's a 30in apple cinema display, the fact I'm crap at gaming is more a side effect of me being a crap shot so don't get me looking for excuses , but now I look I can't make too many excuses for its size

30" Apple Cinema HD uses the Philips S-IPS LM300W01 (true 8-bit) with W-CCFL backlighting, the exact same combination as the Dell ('non HC') 3007WFP.
The Dell WFP3007-HC which has the wonderfully low input lag for a 30" uses the LM300WQ3 S-IPS (Super In-Plane Switching Panel - totally different to the 3007WFP, and the Apple HD. Its close to the 'Q5' series in the 3008WFP but the 3008WFP has input lag - the 3007WFP-HC has very low by comparison.
